Special Category Visa (Subclass 444)
You could apply for a visa type 444 if certain conditions are met. Prior to entering Australia, you must schedule an appointment for your residence permit by filling out your e-Incoming Passenger Card. You will be given a day, time, and venue for your appointment after the Department of Foreign Affairs has processed your request. If they want further information from you, they will also let you know.
Every time you need to access Australian services or verify your legal standing in Australia, your visa 444 will be shown on your VEVO (visa entitlement verification online).
