Bridging Visa C – BVC – (Subclass 030)
Only when a substantive visa is being processed for determination and a prior substantive visa has already reached the end of its validity is the temporary Bridging Visa C Subclass 030 given. Bridging Visa C is referred to by the initials BVC.
With the Bridging Visa C, you are able to remain in Australia legally between the time that a substantive visa expires and the time that the other is being processed for adjudication. If your visa is now the subject of a judicial review and those processes are being concluded, you may also apply for a Bridging visa C. If you meet specific employment conditions, you are also permitted to work in Australia on a bridging visa C.
